Many of the products we supply are medical devices intended for use by healthcare professionals in licensed facilities. This policy explains who can buy them and what we ask of buyers.
Which products are affected
- Professional-use products are marked "For professional use" on the product page. They include surgical, diagnostic and laboratory equipment and clinical consumables that require training to use safely.
- Prescription-only products are marked "Prescription required". They are dispatched only after a valid prescription has been received and approved.
Who can buy professional-use products
- hospitals, clinics, medical centres, laboratories, pharmacies and other licensed healthcare facilities;
- licensed healthcare professionals buying for their practice;
- distributors and resellers of medical products;
- universities, research and training institutions.
Depending on the product, we ask you either to confirm at checkout that the product will be used by or under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional, or to hold a verified business account.
Business account verification
- Register a business account and add your organisation's details and VAT Tax Registration Number, if you have one.
- Upload your trade licence and, for healthcare facilities and professionals, the facility or professional licence and the issuing authority (for example DHA, DoH or MOHAP).
- Our team reviews the documents on business days and e-mails you the result. We may ask for further information.
Verified accounts can buy professional-use products, see their order and quotation history, show their TRN on tax invoices and, where approved, pay on invoice. We may decline or cancel an order if the requirements for a product are not met; any payment is then refunded in full.
Prescription-only products
Upload the prescription at checkout. The prescription is stored privately, reviewed by authorised staff and kept with the order record. The order stays in processing until the prescription has been approved; if it cannot be approved, we contact you and refund the order.

- state registrations and certifications only where we hold the documentation;
- pass on to affected customers the field safety notices and recalls we receive from manufacturers;
- arrange installation, user training and service where the equipment requires it.
